Scott and Dad Paul fishing the river Wye

Sadly my dear Mum passed away towards the end of September and so fishing was put onto the back burner for a while. What I did though was to honor my clients who had booked with me. My appetite for fishing myself just wasn’t there.

Paul had caught a few barbel before however his Dad Paul had never caught one. So we met up on a stretch of the river Wye where you can fill your boots with barbel. Most of the time it’s only small ones of between 2-4lbs.

Well they had a super day catching 34 barbel in total.

It’s such a great day when you see smiling faces.

Scott had a really good fish for the beat at 9lbs 9oz so a fantastic result.

I think they had plenty of fun so I hope they will return again.
