Final session Tench fishing this year with 9lb tench and carp to 33lbs

Much as the previous post my recollection of exact details other then weights is lost in the past. I have had to rely on the video taken at the time. The only thing I can say is that it pays not to be complacent about swim knowledge and assumptions. As I fished an area that I had known for 12 years only to find the fish feeding another 8 yards further out.

Once I had discovered this information I had a fish within a few minutes. I think I ended the session with 19 tench and 6 enormous carp. The first day was what you could call a beautiful day and the second day started pleasant enough but then turned into the predicted strong 40mph winds. This made casting much more challenging. Nigel Bray a friend of mine was on hand to help out during most of the action and a big thanks must go to him for much of the camera work. Also for supplying the extra maggots.

Anyway enjoy the video.
