Emerald Lakes

I was invited down to fish this commercial fishery in Bridgwater by a friend of mine. I’ve not fished there before.  I believe there are 4 lakes there which hold mainly carp. With this in mind I fished two rods one with a waggler rod and the other was a short inline lead and a elips pellet. The waggler had a small 6mm pellet hair rig with a size 14 hook. I caught about 20 carp between 1 to 5lbs plus some skimmers, tench and a roach. Most of the carp came to the inline lead. The reel was put in free spool so it was the clicking that I used as a buzzer. These lakes are stuffed full of fish! I guess I fished for about 6hrs in total and really enjoyed this from as a change from chasing big fish.
